CRMGroup is involved in the realisation: thin Li metal anode, durable Al current collector and an innovative recycling cycle from materials to cell.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme.
- Role and Key Contribution to the Project :
Within project SEATBELT, CRM Group participate in 3 work packages:
– WP3 dedicated to the cathode, the CRM is in charge of the development of a low cost and ultra-thin current collector.
– WP4 which includes developments on the anode side, the CRM is proposing to develop vacuum solutions to improve the interfaces and reduce the Li thickness within the battery.
– WP7 which concerns the recycling of stacks, based on its expertise in pyrometallurgy, the CRM will develop Li purification processes for its direct reuse in the battery value chain.
